There will be long tables and benches and you will probably sit next to a stranger. You get "Frankfurter Würstchen" (boiled sausage of our pork) or the famous green sauce.

The Green Sauce Frankfurt-style is made from hard-boiled eggs, oil, vinegar, salt, and generous amount of seven fresh herbs.

But the best tradition is "Apfelwein" ( kind of Cider). It has an alcohol between 5 and 7 % and taste really sour. A local would drink it pure, but mixing Apfelwein with orange lemonade or water is common as well. After 3 or 4 glasses your neighbor is not a stranger anymore.
