Fishing Greetz from Finland

Hello friends,

"Fishing Greetz from Finland!"

Steffi & me just returned from a fabulous weekend at the countryside from Finland.
Tuomas, one of our nice finnish student friends, invited us for a weekend to his family summer house/farm in the countryside of Finland. THX again Tuomas!!!
Kiran & Radhika, our 2 indian ladies, joined us at this trip.
The journey brought us around 110km east of Helsinki to or nearby Ruotsinpyhtää.

This is the house of the old family farm:

And a view from the top....here you can see some of the smallers buildings around us, normally used for sauna, storage, tools and in the past also animals.
This is a look inside the house, while cooking dinner...

And some impressions from outside...during the first night:

As this is an older house/farm, we felt a bit back in time, with squat toilet and no tap water.

We started our saturday with some Darts...

Tuomas looking motivated...

...but then we put some rubber boots on...

...for a fishing trip...
...and some picnic...

After 5 minutes, Kiran got her first fish (perch):

Beautiful nature around us:

The other girls (Radhika & Steffi) tried their luck too...

That's me, catching my first fish in my whole life...

"YumYum"...

But don't worry, we made catch & release....
Impressions:
"Fish this direction!"

...Tuomas also got something...

Steffi enjoying an awesome day...

...and great views around her:

Jack & Coke, friends for ever...

Some fire shouldn't be missed on such a day...

...or even some food...

In the end, Tuomas also catched a small pike:

Back at the farm...our evenings have been mainly dominated by some finnish sauna:

...and don't forget the refreshments in the sauna...

...or afterwards...

...and finally it was time so say: Good Night or Hyvää yötä
